Army recruit dies during training

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A young Army recruit died on Tuesday, May 26, after training for two days in Tarlac.
The family of Junel Flores, from Barangay Colonia, Lamitan, Basilan, is demanding justice for his death.
Colonia left on May 19 for Tarlac to attend an oath-taking ceremony and undergo training.
On May 26, his family was informed that he suddenly collapsed while training.
He was brought to a medical facility where he was declared dead.
His family members have sought an investigation after noting marks and bruises on his body.
Messages of condolences flooded social media as people joined his family in seeking justice.
