Bulacan police arrested two suspects less than 24 hours after they allegedly shot and killed a man in San Jose Del Monte on Sunday, May 24.

Lt. Col. Reyson M. Bagain, San Jose Del Monte police chief, identified the suspects as alias Bugi, 26, and alias Glen, 23.
They were apprehended at around 1:41 p.m. on Monday, May 25, in Blk. 1 Lot 20 Section 20 Phase 2, Brgy. Muzon South, where they had gone into hiding.
Recovered from the suspects were a 9mm pistol loaded with seven bullets, a belt bag, a sky-blue pouch containing 13 sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 50 grams valued at P340,000, and a bloodstained gray hoodie jacket believed to have been used in the crime.
The suspects were taken to Ospital ng Lungsod San Jose Del Monte for medical examination before being placed under police custody.
The seized items were submitted for ballistic and drug analysis.
The suspects will be charged with murder and violations of Republic Act (RA) 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
Bulacan police officer-in-charge Col. Jay B. Baybayan commended the San Jose Del Monte police for their swift action.
