4 Manila children undergo successful liver transplants through Kaagapay Program
Parents of the beneficiaries personally expressed their gratitude to Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, acknowledging the city’s support in ensuring that their children received the urgent medical care they needed.
Domagoso, for his part, reiterated his commitment to prioritize programs that directly save lives, especially those involving children in critical condition.
He stressed that the city government will not hesitate to allocate funds for medical assistance if it means extending or saving lives. He emphasized that public service should always focus on the welfare of the most vulnerable sectors.
The mayor also reminded families to remain grateful not only to God but also to Manila’s taxpayers, noting that it is through their trust and contributions that the local government is able to fund programs like Kaagapay.
He added that initiatives such as the Kaagapay Program reflect the city’s effort to return public funds to the people in the form of meaningful and life-changing services.
The Kaagapay Program is one of the flagship social services of the Manila City Government, aimed at providing financial and medical assistance to residents in need, particularly those facing serious health conditions requiring immediate intervention.
