Malabon gov't warns of fake parking tickets

The Malabon City government warned the public that a circulating parking ticket is not official and is being used by individuals posing as local government representatives to illegally collect payments from motorists.
The city government urged residents to remain vigilant against individuals or groups falsely representing the local government to demand payments or fees.
Authorities advised the public to verify all transactions and documents only with legitimate city offices and to refrain from giving cash or personal information to unauthorized individuals, particularly those presenting the fake parking ticket.
The local government stressed that all official announcements, ordinances, and legitimate collections are released only through its verified communication channels, including its official Facebook page and website.
Residents were also urged to immediately report any suspicious individuals or activities to authorities to help prevent fraud, impersonation, and misinformation.
