A massive search and rescue operation continued Monday for victims of a collapsed nine-story building in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga.
Three people were killed, 17 missing, and dozens were injured.
Police said 47 individuals were affected by the incident as of 7:40 a.m. Monday.
Authorities said that 26 victims were rescued, including one Malaysian national.
The three fatalities were one Malaysian national and two local workers.
Rescuers from multiple agencies remained on-site as operations intensified to locate at least one individual believed to be trapped in the collapsed structure.
Continuous monitoring and clearing operations are ongoing amid concerns over the stability of the debris and possible secondary collapse hazards.
Around 744 personnel from various agencies were deployed for the operation.
