Kyline Alcantara not keen on having a new partner: 'I'm self-improving'

Following her controversial breakup with Kobe Paras, Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara revealed that she is currently single and focused on herself.

According to the actress, she wants to prioritize self-love and personal growth before entering another serious relationship.

“Oo, doon muna tayo. Huwag muna, Lord. When I love, I really love a person because I feel like I have too much love to give. So, I just keep on giving and giving and giving. So, (this time) ako na muna. Sa akin muna lahat,” Kyline said.

She further explained that she does not want to put unnecessary pressure on herself making hasty decisions about relationships and life in general.

“I’m still young. Actually, it’s a paradox whenever I say, ‘I’m still young.’ I’m still young, so I should be able to experience a lot of things. I’m allowed to fail, and I’m allowing myself to make more mistakes. But at the same time, because I’m still young, I shouldn’t hurry,” she explained.

Asked whether she still sees herself dating another celebrity in the future, Kyline retorted, "Hindi ko po alam. Honestly, hindi ko po alam. Depende kung sino ang ibibigay ng ating Panginoong Diyos."

Note that she had been linked to actor-host Mavy Legaspi prior to Kobe.

Lesson learned? She likes her next relationship to be more private.

"Parang masyado na pong out there. I know that we’re public figures, but we’re not public properties. Kung may mangyari man in the near future sa aking love life, siguro pang sa akin lang muna po iyon. Hindi ko na siya ipa-publicize that much."
