Kylie Padilla admits she still loves doing her own stunts whenever possible, but these days, being a mother comes first.
The actress, daughter of Robin Padilla, recently shared how she thought twice about performing a dangerous stunt for her new series, “Taskforce Firewall,” because of her children, Alas and Axl.
She shared her thoughts about rappelling from the 17th floor of the GMA Network building as part of the show’s opening scenes.
“Nagdalawang-isip ako. May dalawa akong anak na naghihintay sa bahay,” she said.
She went on to admit, “Nabawasan na ’yung pagiging daredevil ko dati nung bata ako. Nung wala pa akong anak, gusto ko ’yan. Pero nung nagka-anak na ako, binawasan ko na.”
Despite her fears, Kylie still completed the stunt.
“Nung na-experience ko na ’yung parang lumilipad na feeling, it was worth it. It was worth all the fear and kaba. Worth it talaga. Tsaka worth it talaga para mapaganda ’yung show namin,” she shared.
While motherhood has changed the way she approaches risky activities, Kylie admitted she still enjoys immersing herself in different roles as an actress.
“’Yan ’yung pinakagusto ko sa trabaho ko bilang artista — nakapapasok ako sa buhay na hindi ko buhay, tapos nagagawa ko ’yung mga bagay na hindi ko talaga gagawin,” she said.
Kylie also revealed that she performed more stunts for the series, which gives viewers a glimpse into the high-stakes world of cybercrime investigations.
“Taskforce Firewall” follows a group of individuals brought together by fate and united by one mission: to become cyber protectors.
The show aims to raise awareness and promote the prevention of rampant cybercrimes through compelling storytelling.
Aside from Kylie, the series also stars Miguel Tanfelix, Kyline Alcantara, Jak Roberto, Lexi Gonzales, Buboy Villar, and Cheska Fausto, among others.
“Taskforce Firewall” is set to premiere on GMA, May 25.
