A fire broke out Friday night at the Knights of Columbus Building in Intramuros, Manila, authorities said.
According to initial reports, the fire involved a commercial establishment inside the building.
The Bureau of Fire Protection verified the incident at around 8:42 p.m. before raising the first alarm at 8:44 p.m. The fire was later elevated to a second alarm at 8:51 p.m.
Firefighters responded swiftly and were able to place the fire under control by 9:10 p.m.
No injuries or casualties were reported, and authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire and the extent of damage.
