Kwentuhan sa Bayan: Free story telling session for kids in Binangonan

Young learners in Binangonan, Rizal are encouraged to make the most of their remaining vacation days before classes resume in June.
One way to enjoy the summer break is by joining the one-day only, free storytelling session dubbed “Kwentuhan sa Bayan ng Binangonan Storytelling Session for Young Learners” on Monday, May 25, at the Binangonan E-Library and Museum located on Zulueta Street in Barangay Libid.
The office of Mayor Rhea Ynares announced that the storytelling activity will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the second floor of the town’s e-library and museum building.

Teacher Aileen D. Sto. Domingo of Binangonan Elementary School, together with the municipality’s Lampara team, will lead the sessions.
Vice Mayor Russel C. Ynares, whose office supervises the operation of the e-library and museum, said participants will receive free snacks and loot bags as part of the program.
The storytelling event is among the initiatives of the e-library to promote reading and learning among children.
The Binangonan E-Library and Museum serves as a digital learning hub featuring a wide collection of books across genres such as fiction, history, and reference materials.
It also provides computers with internet access for research, online review, and digital literacy.
Learners can explore STARBOOKs, a digital library showcasing science, technology, and innovation courtesy of the Department of Science and Technology, as well as the museum that highlights the history and culture of Binangonan.
In addition, the facility offers free photocopying services to support students with their school requirements.

The e-library and museum is open from Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., making it a valuable resource for the town’s young learners.
