Janine Berdin goes viral after Demi Lovato praises her performance

Janine Berdin could not contain her excitement after international pop superstar Demi Lovato personally noticed and praised her viral performance online.

Janine recently performed the emotional ballad “What If I Miss You for the Rest of My Life?” on the popular Wish Bus platform. Her powerhouse vocals quickly caught the attention of fans and celebrities alike.

But among the flood of reactions, one comment stood out the most, that of Demi.

Obviously impressed, the “Heart Attack” hitmaker left a short but explosive comment on Instagram after watching Janine’s performance.

“Holy sh**,” Demi wrote, clearly blown away by Janine's vocal prowess.

Naturally, Janine went into full fangirl mode after seeing the comment from one of her biggest inspirations.

“HELLO ????? … I SING AND WRITE BECAUSE I GREW UP WANTING TO BE JUST LIKE YOU. I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU HEARD ME SING IN THIS LIFETIME,” Janine replied.

The singer also reflected on her journey from being a young dreamer in Cebu to becoming a recording artist under Island Records Philippines.

According to Janine, she grew up singing Demi's songs, even performing them during her time as a contestant on "Tawag ng Tanghalan."

“Thank you thank you thank you, Ms. Demi. I love you. I can’t fit my love in one comment,” she added.

“Salamat kaayo madam.”

Janine first rose to fame after winning “Tawag ng Tanghalan” in 2018.

Since then, she has released several hit songs and collaborations, including "Mahika," "Ano Ba Talaga Tayo?" and "Mikasa."

With Demi now among her admirers, fans are celebrating what could be one of Janine’s biggest career milestones yet.
