Motherhood today comes with many things tucked inside a diaper bag: wipes, bottles, extra clothes, anxiety, conflicting online advice, and at least one late night Google search that begins with “Is it normal if…”
For first time mothers especially, parenting in the digital age can feel like being handed an endless scroll of opinions disguised as certainty. One video says your baby should sleep this way. Another says absolutely not. Somewhere between pediatrician visits and TikTok parenting hacks, many moms are left wondering if they are doing enough, or worse, doing everything wrong.
Cetaphil Baby hopes to soften that noise through Club Baby MD, a newly launched community designed to connect mothers with fellow parents and child health experts in a space rooted in support.

Launched during an intimate late afternoon gathering at Terraza Martinez, Shangri-La The Fort, Club Baby MD brought together KOL mothers, health experts, and celebrity parents, including Nico Bolzico, Jess Wilson, and Laura Lehmann, for conversations on parenting, baby skin health, and the realities of raising children today.
“We are helping each and every mom, especially first-time moms and expecting moms, to ride through the joys of motherhood, anxieties, and uncertainties. We are here to help you on this journey of motherhood. Club Baby MD supports both mom and baby every step of the way,” said Abe Mationg, head of marketing of Cetaphil Philippines, during the program’s opening speech.
What unfolded throughout the event felt like the kind of reassuring conversation mothers wish they had at 2 a.m. while trying to decode why their baby suddenly refuses to sleep.
Parenting beyond the algorithm
During a casual chat with the media, Jess Wilson and Laura Lehmann both spoke candidly about learning how to trust their own instincts amid the overwhelming amount of parenting content online.
“It can get really noisy and overwhelming, and you can see it sometimes like you're doing a bad job because of what they say. But there's a quote that says, ‘You are the best mom for your baby.’” Laura shared. “I think trusting your gut, trusting your instincts, and remembering that your baby is yours and no one else's, that will help you a lot.”
There is comfort in realizing motherhood has no universal formula, only shared experiences. Laura pointed out, “It’s learning to filter out that noise and finding a group that will love you for who you are, and respect the decisions that you make even though it might be different from theirs.”
Jess echoed the sentiment, explaining that every child comes with different needs and personalities, something the internet often forgets in its rush to offer one-size-fits-all solutions.
“Everyone has a different approach, and there's no wrong one. It's really what works for you as a family, and what makes you feel good as a mom,” she said simply
For her, motherhood becomes lighter when experienced alongside people who understand its unpredictability firsthand. “With mom groups, when you do it together, it's just less crazy, less scary,” Jess said.
She added that parenting communities also become spaces for constant learning, especially as children continue to grow and change in unexpected ways. “It’s always a welcome invite for me to join any mom group because you always learn something new from another mom, and you’re always going to encounter something new with your baby as well.”
Nico Bolzico, meanwhile, brought his signature humor into the conversation, admitting that when his wife, Solenn Heussaff, is away, he occasionally turns to the internet for parenting answers. Still, he acknowledged that mothers often possess an instinctive understanding that technology cannot replicate.
“I always go with one thing that the best mom is a happy mom, right? So you need to do everything for the mom to be happy,” he shared. “Supporting your wife, making sure that she has everything she needs, letting her know that she doesn't need to do everything was very, very important, and it was like an eye opener. I think that was a little bit my role in that journey.”
For Nico, communities like Club Baby MD also help bridge the gap between shared experiences and expert guidance.
“And then you have communities like Club Baby MD, where professionals can help with the more technical aspects of parenting. Moms naturally want to help one another, but having expert guidance also gives parents extra reassurance,” he added.
For the three of them, what makes Club Baby MD stand out is its balance between emotional support and professional guidance. “I also want to point out that with this group, you have doctor input. We had a pediatrician with us here today to help out,” Laura shared. “It’s helpful having fellow moms around, but sometimes when you’re dealing with real medical concerns, especially skin issues, you really need guidance from the experts.”

A softer kind of support system
Perhaps what captures what many mothers are truly searching for is not perfection nor viral parenting tips. Just reassurance that someone reliable is there to listen when things feel uncertain.
Cetaphil Baby hopes to encourage a space where mothers can openly share experiences, ask questions, and connect with fellow moms and child care experts in a supportive environment.
