Actress Cristine Reyes is officially engaged to Gio Tiongson.

Cristine and Gio were first linked romantically last year, although the actress initially kept details about their relationship private.

Over time, the two became more open about it, appearing together publicly.

Gio previously served as chairperson of the National Youth Commission and later worked as Chief Political Officer for former Senator Bam Aquino. He also became affiliated with the Akbayan political party, where he held a leadership role for several years.

Before finding love again, Cristine was married to MMA fighter Ali Khatibi, with whom she shares a daughter named Amarah.

In an earlier interview, Cristine confirmed that she had already been annulled from her previous marriage for over a year before publicly entering her new relationship.
