Wife of Senate Secretary Montales named new Taguig City administrator

The wife of newly appointed Senate Secretary, lawyer Jose Luis Montales, has been named the new city administrator of the Taguig City government. 

The appointment of Dr. Cecilia Montales as the new Taguig City administrator was announced on May 20, taking over the position vacated by her husband.

Before her designation, Dr. Montales served as executive assistant for health in the city government. 

Various Taguig City departments congratulated Dr. Montales on her new role. 

Atty. Montales became Senate Secretary when Senator Alan Peter Cayetano assumed the position as Senate President. 

He previously served as secretary general of the House of Representatives during Cayetano's speakership. 

When Cayetano became the foreign affairs secretary from 2017 to 2108, Montales served as an undersecretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
