MANDALUYONG CITY — As part of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles turned over various rescue and health-related equipment to the local government unit of Puerto Galera on May 13, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
The items were received by Puerto Galera Vice Mayor Rocky Ilagan during the turnover ceremony.
Among the equipment turned over were 20 trauma bags, 20 oxygen tanks, 20 handheld radios, 20 rescue helmets with headlamps, 20 rescue ropes, 25 stretchers, 20 life jackets, and 10 weighing scales.
Vice Mayor Ilagan expressed his appreciation to PCSO, noting that the rescue and health-related equipment will greatly benefit not only the residents of Puerto Galera but also the tourists visiting the municipality.
Through this initiative, PCSO continues to deliver compassionate service and implement programs that promote the safety, health, and welfare of more Filipinos.
