Garage in Cebu yields bodies of 2 boys

CEBU CITY – Two children were found dead inside a garage in Barangay Tuyan, Naga City, Cebu Tuesday.
The bodies of the two seven-year-old boys were discovered a day after they went missing, police said.
Police said the two boys asked permission from their parents to play in the neighborhood on Monday afternoon.
Their parents became worried when they failed to return home overnight.
They sought help from the police the next day. A search operation was launched.
Police managed to secure closed-circuit television camera footage showing the two children entering a garage.
Investigators went to the garage and noticed foul odor. The stench led to a parked car where the two boys were found lifeless.
Police said their bodies were already in a state of decomposition. Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
