Andrea Tetangco celebrates the modern woman through fashion and design

Honoring and celebrating mothers does not end with Mother’s Day. Embracing this spirit, Opulence Design Concept brought together design, hosting, and fashion in a special showcase in partnership with designer Andrea Tetangco.

Held on May 14 at the Opulence Design Concept showroom in Greenbelt 5, Makati City, the event introduced Andrea’s exclusive capsule collection, Opulence in Motion.
A study in strength and softness, the collection draws inspiration from the modern woman — multifaceted, ever-evolving, and constantly in motion.
There to celebrate the collection was a bevy of empowered women and mothers who graced the runway in Andrea’s latest designs. Among them were lawyer Karen Jimeno, interior designer Grace Tan, and former Miss Universe Philippines Rachel Peters.

Through refined silhouettes and understated elegance, the collection explores the beauty of contrast — structure with ease, and confidence with authenticity — as an ode to the grace and resilience of the modern mother.
“Mothers embody contrast and are constantly in motion. I wanted this collection to honor their strength while making them feel empowered, confident, and truly seen,” Andrea said. “You will see a lot of volume and fluidity — a balance of structure, softness, and fine elegance throughout the collection. I hope you will like it.”
