Cebu Pacific to restart Dubai operations in July after safety review
Gokongwei-led low-cost carrier Cebu Air Inc. (Cebu Pacific) will resume flights between Manila and Dubai beginning July 2 after completing safety assessments and coordinating with Dubai airport authorities.
In an advisory on Tuesday, May 19, Cebu Pacific said it would restart operations for flights 5J 14/15 and 5J 18/19 covering the Manila-Dubai-Manila route.
The budget airline said it would initially operate flights between Manila and Dubai four times weekly, scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Passengers affected by canceled Dubai flights may begin rebooking through the “Manage Booking” portal on the airline’s website.
Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific said it continues to operate four weekly flights between Manila and Riyadh every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, while Riyadh-to-Manila flights are scheduled every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
“The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew remain our utmost priority,” the airline said.
The carrier also advised passengers to regularly check their flight status and update their contact details to receive timely notifications regarding their flights.
