Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has joined hands with Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) in support of the Caravan for Peace and Solidarity – Padayon sa Prelatura sa Marawi, a nationwide initiative dedicated to rebuilding the church and restoring hope in Marawi.
As part of this partnership, IPC is providing an Isuzu NMR truck to support the caravan’s logistical and transport requirements as it travels across the country. More than simply enabling mobility, the vehicle plays a meaningful role in helping carry the mission forward — ensuring that materials, resources, and people reach communities that are part of this shared journey toward healing and rebuilding.
Led by ACN, a global pontifical foundation supporting humanitarian and pastoral initiatives, the caravan aims to raise awareness and funds for the reconstruction of the Prelature of St. Mary in Marawi, in time for its 50th anniversary this November. The initiative stands as a symbol of unity, faith, and collective action, bringing together individuals and organizations willing to contribute — no matter how big or small — to a common purpose.
“At Isuzu, we believe that being a responsible partner goes beyond providing vehicle - it means supporting initiatives that uplift communities and create lasting impact. Through this collaboration with ACN, we are honored to play a part in helping bring hope to Marawi. No contribution is too small when it comes to rebuilding lives and strengthening communities,” said IPC Sales Division Head Robert Carlos.
Throughout the caravan, the Isuzu NMR truck will serve as a reliable support vehicle, assisting in the transport of essential cargo and materials needed for the campaign. It is powered by Isuzu’s proven Blue Power diesel engine, delivering dependable performance and fuel efficiency for long-distance travel across both urban and provincial routes. Its low maintenance requirements help ensure continuous operations throughout the journey. More than its capabilities, its role is symbolic - representing how dependable mobility can empower missions that reach communities nationwide.
“We are deeply grateful to Isuzu for joining us in this meaningful journey. Their support as our mobility partner allows us to carry forward our mission with greater confidence, knowing that we have a reliable partner helping us reach communities across the country. The Isuzu NMR truck will play an important role in ensuring that our resources and message of hope reach those who need it most, especially as we continue our efforts in rebuilding the Prelature of Marawi,” said Max Ventura, National Director of Aid to the Church in Need Philippines.
Backed by IPC’s nationwide dealer network, the caravan is further supported by accessible aftersales service and parts availability, helping ensure that the mission continues without disruption as it moves from one destination to another.
This initiative reflects IPC’s broader commitment to nation-building, standing alongside organizations like ACN in efforts that promote peace, solidarity, and sustainable community development. As the caravan makes its way across the country, Isuzu Philippines remains steadfast in its role as a partner not only in mobility, but in meaningful causes that make a difference.
