Current and former members of K-pop girl group Apink reunited to celebrate member Yoon Bomi’s milestone wedding to producer Rado on May 16.
Bomi, 32, and Rado, 41, tied the knot after nine years of dating, with the ceremony turning into a heartfelt reunion for Apink members past and present.
During the wedding, Eunji, Chorong, Namjoo and Hayoung performed “Love Me More,” a track from Apink’s January album “RE : Love,” which was composed by Rado. Hayoung became emotional during the performance, while Chorong delivered a congratulatory speech for the couple.
STAYC and Unchild, groups produced by Rado, also performed at the wedding.
Former Apink member Hong Yoo-kyung, who left the group in 2013, attended the ceremony, while former member Son Na-eun, who departed in 2022, was absent.
Hong Yoo-kyung shared a photo from the wedding on Instagram, writing, “My very pretty Bbom unni, you have to be happy.”
Singer and musical actress Han Seoyoon also attended and posted a video from the bridal waiting room with the caption, “Let’s make our Bomi even happier.”
Among the other guests were BTOB members Changsub, Hyun-sik and Peniel, as well as Monsta X’s Shownu.
Bomi and Rado grew close while working together on Apink’s 2016 title track “Only One.”
After news of their relationship became public, Bomi said, “While working on many songs together, we developed positive feelings for each other and started dating, and we’ve been together ever since.”
Last December, Bomi shared a handwritten letter to fans announcing her marriage plans.
“I’ve decided to spend my future with the person who has been by my side for so long, sharing our daily lives through both joys and sorrows,” she wrote.
“As I always have, I will continue to live with a strong sense of responsibility. I will repay the Pandas with even better activities as both Apink and Yoon Bomi,” she added, referring to Apink’s fandom.
