Suspects in murder of doctor, baby in Zambales nabbed

SANTA CRUZ, Zambales – Police arrested two suspects in the murder of a doctor, her baby, and helper on Dec. 4, 2024, in this town.
Police identified one of the suspects as the husband of the victim, Dr. Lynette Metra. He was apprehended in Barangay San Vicente, Baguio City on Friday, May 15.
The second suspect was captured in Barangay Pagatpat here.
Parricide and murder cases have been filed against the suspects before the Zambales Regional Trial Court Branch 70.
The suspects were caught after they were positively identified by a witness.
Their warrants of arrest were issued on May 13, 2026.
The suspects are in the custody of the police here.
Numerous appeals for justice were aired and a substantial reward was offered for the arrest of the suspects.
