New Siquijor police chief appointed

BACOLOD CITY – Police Col. Mark Anthony Andrade was appointed as Siquijor police chief.
Police Col. Villaflor Bannawagan, acting deputy regional director for administration of the Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR), presided over the turnover of command ceremony here on Saturday, May 16.
Andrade, chief of the Regional Community Affairs Development Division of the PRO-NIR, succeeded Police Col. Emelie Santos who moved to the Police Regional Office-7 (Central Visayas).
The PRO-NIR urged Andrade to further strengthen law enforcement initiatives, enhance community engagement, and sustain the intensified campaign against criminality.
Bannawagan thanked Santos for her dedicated service and valuable contributions for almost two years.
