CEU School of Pharmacy students clinches major win in National Patient Counseling Event 2026
Centro Escolar University (CEU) School of Pharmacy recently clinched the 1st Runner-Up spot at the National Patient Counseling Event 2026 held at Saint Louis University.
The CEU team composed of Clark Joshua Mangune, Johanna Rachel Villasis, and Clarence Rostrollo earned a remarkable score of 90.24 percent with their mentor Samantha Leigh Ocampo.
The competition challenged the students' mastery of pharmaceutical care, which requires not just clinical knowledge but also critical thinking and empathy. The team's success highlights their commitment to the evolving role of pharmacists as vital, patient-centered healthcare providers.
The event was spearheaded by the Federation of Junior Chapters of the Philippine Pharmacists Association (FJCPPhA), the national student arm of the Philippine Pharmacists Association (PPhA). Affiliated with the Philippine Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (PACOP), the FJCPPhA remains dedicated to the holistic development of student pharmacists, fostering global competitiveness and a passion for social transformation.
