Shell Pilipinas cuts fuel prices nationwide in week-long promo

Shell Pilipinas Corp. is launching a week-long nationwide discount program starting Friday, May 15, amid volatile global oil prices.
In a statement, Shell Pilipinas said the initiative, which runs through May 21, provides tiered price reductions for both private vehicles and public utility drivers across its retail network.
Under the terms of the promotion, drivers of four-wheel vehicles purchasing premium gasoline grades—specifically Shell FuelSave Gasoline, Shell FuelSave 95, Shell V-Power Gasoline, and Shell V-Power Racing—are eligible for a discount of ₱5 per liter.
To qualify, motorists must make a minimum single-receipt purchase of ₱1,500. The company has capped the benefit at ₱200 per transaction, which corresponds to a maximum of 40 liters of fuel.
For diesel users, the company is offering a ₱3 per liter reduction on Shell FuelSave Diesel and Shell V-Power Diesel. This offer also requires a ₱1,500 minimum purchase and is capped at a total discount of ₱180, or roughly 60 liters
The promotion extends significant benefits to the two-wheel segment, a rapidly growing demographic in the local transport landscape. Motorcycle riders can avail of the same ₱5 per liter discount on gasoline products but with a lower entry barrier of a ₱200 minimum purchase. This incentive remains capped at ₱200.
Shell Pilipinas is also leveraging its existing ecosystem of loyalty programs and financial partnerships. Users of the Shell Go+ app and SM Advantage Card can continue to accrue points that function as cash equivalents for future purchases.
Furthermore, holders of the UnionBank Shell Power Card are eligible for an additional rebate of up to five percent on their total fuel expenditure, potentially deepening the effective savings for frequent drivers.
In a bid to support the essential transport sector, the company confirmed its continued participation in the Department of Energy’s fuel subsidy program.
Public utility vehicle drivers will receive a more substantial ₱10 per liter discount on diesel products at more than 300 participating stations.
