Road closures, rerouting set for XONARA event in Manila

Motorists are advised to expect road closures and traffic rerouting in parts of Manila on Saturday, May 16, due to a pop-up event featuring P-pop girl group XONARA.

Authorities said the following roads will be temporarily closed:
Escolta Street from T. Pinpin Street to Banquero Street
Burke Street from Dasmariñas Street to Muelle del Nacional
Martinez Street from T. Pinpin Street to Burke Street
Under the rerouting scheme, vehicles coming from Jones Bridge and heading toward Plaza Sta. Cruz via Escolta Street will be redirected to T. Pinpin Street.
Vehicles coming from San Vicente Street will also be required to turn left to T. Pinpin Street to reach their destinations.
Authorities said the actual closure and reopening of affected roads will depend on the traffic situation in the area.
