Eight most wanted persons facing various criminal charges were arrested in a series of coordinated manhunt operations conducted by the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) from May 12 to 14, 2026.
QCPD said the simultaneous operations carried out by different police stations and special units led to the service of warrants of arrest against the suspects for cases including violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, qualified rape, reckless imprudence resulting in slight physical injury, and other offenses issued by various Quezon City Regional Trial Court branches.
Among those arrested was alias “Miguel,” 22, listed as No. 6 most wanted person of Police Station 9. He was collared by operatives of the District Special Operations Unit and Anonas Police Station at the corner of Masaya and Maginhawa Streets, Barangay Old Capitol Site, at around 9:30 p.m. on May 12 for drug-related charges.
In Novaliches, alias “Jewel,” 31, No. 5 most wanted person of Police Station 4, was arrested on Don Crispolo Street, Barangay Gulod, at 4:10 p.m. on May 13 for violation of RA 9165.
In Cubao, alias “Mark Anthony,” 30, No. 3 most wanted person of Police Station 7, was arrested on May 14 for drug-related charges.
Records showed he had previous cases of unjust vexation, direct assault, and resistance and disobedience to persons in authority or agents thereof.
In Payatas–Bagong Silangan, alias “Jessie,” 55, also listed as No. 3 most wanted person of Police Station 13, was arrested in Old Balara at 6:20 p.m. on May 12 for two counts of qualified rape, with warrants issued by a Quezon City RTC branch.
Separate operations also led to the arrest of alias “Carl Rafael,” 23, No. 8 most wanted person of Police Station 1 in Barangay Holy Spirit; alias “James Kyle,” 30, No. 6 most wanted person of Police Station 14 in Culiat for reckless imprudence resulting in slight physical injury; and alias “Joshua,” 38, No. 4 most wanted person of Police Station 16 in Barangay Pasong Putik, all on May 13.
In a separate custodial operation, alias “Dexter,” 27, No. 9 most wanted person, was arrested at the New BJMP Quezon City Custodial Facility in Barangay Bagong Silangan for violation of RA 9165.
All arrested individuals were served warrants issued by various Quezon City Regional Trial Court branches and will be returned to their courts of origin.
