CEBU CITY – This couple in Sierra Bullones, Bohol could have not asked for a better wedding gift.
Couple Joseph and Cerilin Noculan from Barangay San Isidro became the latest beneficiary of the free housing program of Gov. Aris Aumentado and his wife Rep. Vanessa Aumentado.
The governor led the turnover of a newly constructed house during the couple's wedding day on Friday, May 15.
The governor said it was the 118th house that was turned over under their Balay sa Paglaum (House of Hope) advocacy in partnership with the Libreng Alagad ug Balay program of the Bohol Provincial Police Office.
He added that he and his wife shouldered the construction of the houses under the advocacy.
“We are thankful to the Bohol Police Provincial Office and volunteers for helping construct this house,” Aumentado said during the turnover.
Sierra Bullones Mayor Michael Doria was present during the turnover to preside over the wedding.
“It was really a memorable moment for the couple, a double celebration for them after their union and receiving a new house,” said Aumentado.
