EPCALM brings 'The Hope Gala 2026' to Solaire Resort North

For 21 years, the EPCALM Foundation has served as a beacon of hope for adult leukemia patients and their families. As the country's first and only non-profit organization dedicated to this cause, they provide comprehensive spiritual, medical, and financial support throughout a patient’s leukemia journey.

Following the success last year of its inaugural sold-out benefit dinner-concert, they are now staging "The Hope Gala 2026" on Sunday, May 17, 6 PM at the Grand Ballroom of Solaire Resort North, Quezon City.

The evening will be hosted by King of Talk Boy Abunda, and topbilled by the Concert King Martin Nievera, alongside Concert Queen Pops Fernandez, Vina Morales, and Jed Madela.

During The Hope Gala last year, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, a member of the EPCALM Honorary Board of Trustees, lauded the foundation's two decades of service.

Mayor Belmonte described EPCALM as “a home, sanctuary, and source of light” for adult leukemia patients and their families during their dark and challenging journey.

In response, EPCALM Founder and Board Chair, Dr. Erlyn Cabanag-Demerre, expressed her hope that the foundation will continue to expand its mission. She also shared her deep gratitude for the sponsors, institutional and media partners, and loyal supporters who made “The Hope Gala” a sold-out success.

EPCALM understands that a leukemia diagnosis affects entire families and communities. It remains committed to providing practical assistance and support to patients and their families, ensuring that no one faces their fight alone.

As Dr. Demerre noted, “When hearts unite, healing begins. And when hope is shared, it grows by leaps and bounds.”

All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the adult leukemia patients and families serviced by the EPCALM Foundation.
