PhilMo 2026 NCR/Region IV Leg Quiz Bee

Centro Escolar University (CEU) School of Science and Technology students secured the 2nd Runner-Up spot in the Philippine Microbiology Olympiad (PhilMo) 2026 NCR/Region IV Leg Quiz Bee held at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

The powerhouse team, composed of Bachelor of Science in Biology with Specialization in Microbiology students Robin A. Caparanga, Miguel Manuel P. Aquino, Vence Cholo C. Navas, and Yasmine Shaden S. Maya, showcased their expertise in the field of Microbiology, thus earning a podium finish. With this success, the team has qualified to represent the University at the National Level of the competition.

Another Escolarian, Calvin John Pontawe, also represented CEU in the Individual Category.

The students are under the expert guidance of their faculty coach, Mr. Joshua Allen Saliba, RMicro.
