Former Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4Ps beneficiaries have consistently performed strongly in professional licensure examinations in recent years.
In the 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), 72 of them entered the Top 10, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) said on Friday, May 15.
Leading the examinees were two Top 1 placers: Jhade Vine Icot, who topped the elementary level with a 95-percent rating, and Rashil Rae Recorte, who ranked first in the secondary level with 95.80 percent.
DSWD said Recorte posted the highest rating recorded in the history of the secondary-level LET.
In the Top 2 spots were Jyra Trixie Marie Bartolo for the elementary level and Allana Abordo for the secondary level.
Those who placed in the Top 3 were Ernyst Chille Mundala, Raquel Silaya, and Chester Paul Zius Padilla for the elementary level, while Jasmin Datu Imam Alimosa and Ramil Jr. Gabrino Gaurano secured the same ranking in the secondary level.

DSWD Assistant Secretary and spokesperson Irene Dumlao said the achievement shows the success of former monitored children of the program, calling it proof that education can help break the cycle of poverty.
“The whole DSWD family is delighted to congratulate our former 4Ps monitored children who passed the March 2026 LET. Seventy-two of them also secured the top spots of the LET. This remarkable achievement serves as notable proof of how 4Ps beneficiaries can triumph over poverty,” Dumlao said.
She added that the accomplishment serves as inspiration for other beneficiary families to pursue education and perseverance.
It brings pride not only to their communities but also to the entire program and the nation, she said.
“To our former 4Ps monitored children, your journey inspires countless other 4Ps families to dream bigger and persevere more. Your accomplishment brings pride not only to your families and communities, but also to the entire 4Ps program and the nation,” she said.
From 2019 to present, DSWD has recorded 154 LET passers who were former 4Ps monitored children.
“As future educators, may you continue to shape minds, inspire learners, and become instruments of positive change in our society,” she said.
The 4Ps is the government’s national poverty reduction strategy and human capital investment program, providing conditional cash grants to eligible households in exchange for compliance with health, nutrition, and education requirements aimed at breaking intergenerational poverty.
