- Ogie Diaz discussed conflicting reports surrounding the alleged cancellation of Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co's supposed wedding, including claims involving Shirley Kuan and a rumored prenup issue.
Another issue has surfaced surrounding the alleged cancellation of the supposed May 16 wedding of Bea Alonzo and businessman Vincent Co.
Showbiz commentator Ogie Diaz discussed the controversy in a recent episode of his online program, pointing out conflicting reports allegedly coming from different sources about the reported ceremony in Spain.
According to Diaz, one message allegedly linked to the actress’ camp claimed that the wedding had been canceled.
“We sincerely apologize for the sudden notice, but unfortunately, the wedding has been canceled,” the alleged message read, according to Diaz.
However, Diaz said another message, reportedly from a wedding coordinator, claimed that the event was only postponed.
“Ang sabi naman ng coordinator, postponed daw to a later date,” Diaz said, referring to the conflicting information being circulated online.
The entertainment commentator also questioned why updates about the reported wedding were allegedly coming from management-related sources instead of directly from the couple or organizers.
“Bakit parang sa management nanggagaling ang mga balita at hindi mismo sa couple?” Diaz asked during the broadcast.
Diaz clarified that the information being discussed on his show came from circulating reports and unverified claims online.
In the same episode, Diaz also mentioned allegations involving Bea’s manager, Shirley Kuan, while questioning the reported level of her involvement in the actress’ personal matters.
But he stressed that these were allegations and online discussions, not confirmed facts.
Diaz also addressed rumors linking the issue to an alleged prenuptial agreement dispute.
“Ang sabi ng source, matagal nang pirmado ang prenup at hindi raw ito ang naging problema,” Diaz said.
As of this writing, Alonzo, Co, and Kuan have not released any official statement confirming whether the reported wedding has been canceled, postponed, or will proceed as planned.
