Makati buy-bust nets P476K worth of shabu

Authorities seized an estimated P476,000 worth of shabu from a high-value individual (HVI) during a buy-bust operation in Makati City early Thursday, May 14.

The Makati City Police Station arrested the suspect, identified only as "Jhon-Jhon," 51, at his home in Barangay Olympia at around 1:15 a.m.
He was arrested after selling P100,000 worth of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer.
Confiscated from him were about 70 grams of suspected shabu, 199 pieces of P500 boodle money, a mobile phone, and several personal belongings.
The suspect is currently under police custody and is facing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
