There is always a reason to put off working out. Not enough time, too far, too expensive, or simply not knowing where to start. For many, it is not the lack of motivation—but the lack of access—that makes consistency difficult. This is the gap BeFit is trying to fill.
Following the successful launch of its first branch in Alabang, the homegrown fitness brand has opened its second location at PNB Makati Center along Ayala Avenue. “Makati is a central business district, and putting fitness where people live and work will make it easier for them to integrate it into their everyday life,” shares chief operating officer Tania Machado.
CARDIO IS LIFE Exercise machines for training your cardio and endurance
The 1,300-square-meter gym floor is divided into six zones, each catering to different ways people choose to move. There is a place for cardio, strength training, functional workouts, and even a dedicated area for glute-focused routines. Group classes such as yoga, pilates, and dance-based sessions are also available.
One of they gym’s goals is to make fitness feel less exclusive. “We saw that fitness here is often either too expensive or too intimidating, so we created something in between—high-quality, but accessible,” says Daniela Medalla, head of Brand Marketing. “We remove common barriers like high upfront costs, long-term contracts, and hidden fees, so more people can start and sustain their fitness journey.”

Another enticing feature is their membership fee that begins at ₱999, with flexible, cancel-anytime plans. Personal trainers are available for structured programs, while floor coaches help guide members through equipment and routines. Nutritionists and an in-house physiotherapist give that extra support for members. They are also working on a recovery zone, offering a balanced view of wellness that includes rest as part of the process.
“We make high-value fitness experiences attainable, especially for those who have never been able to get memberships before,” Tania adds. “The space is welcoming, especially for those who are not necessarily fitness enthusiasts.”
