Ruffa Guttierrez receives heartfelt message from ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas

Ruffa Gutierrez became emotional after her ex-husband, Yilmaz Bektas, gave her a heartfelt Mother's Day tribute via social media.

The now-deleted Instagram stories feature photos of them when they were younger.

"I sincerely thank you for everything and carry endless gratitude in my heart. Endless gratitude for everything you have given, every sacrifice you made, and every beautiful memory you left behind," he said.

Ruffa expressed her appreciation for the post through her TikTok account, relating how thankful she is that Yilmaz acknowledged all the sacrifices and love she gave to her daughters, Lorin and Venice.

"You really have a unique way of making me cry, Yilmaz. Thank you for recognizing the years of love, strength, and sacrifice that went into raising our daughters. No matter where life has taken us, Lorin and Venice will always remain our greatest blessings," Ruffa wrote on her post.

The former Miss World Philippines titleholder also shared that Yilmaz’s message meant a lot to her.

"Hearing those words of gratitude from you means more than you know. Through every season since the day we met 26 years ago today in Cannes, I simply chose love for our children — and I would do it all over again," she said.

At the end of her post, Ruffa thanked Yilmaz for recognizing and honoring her journey as a mom to their two kids.

"Thank you for honoring my journey in raising Lorin and Venice with kindness, sincerity, and respect," she added.
