KDLex no more: Alexa Ilacad confirms end of pairing with KD Estrada

On her social media pages, Alexa reposted a statement from fandom group KDLex International Sweethearts announcing that she and KD had decided to part ways as a love team. While the announcement stressed that the decision was mutual and respectful, it still landed heavily on fans who had spent years rooting for the pair.

“I am truly grateful to all the Sweethearts — more than you will ever know,” Alexa wrote, thanking supporters for “the sacrifices, the heartaches, the laughter, and all the beautiful memories and bondings” shared throughout the years.

The actress also assured fans that the appreciation would remain even as she and KD move forward separately.

“And no matter who you choose to support, as long as respect remains, I will continue to love and appreciate all of you,” she added.

The fandom statement described the split as the result of “circumstances, external factors, and the people surrounding them,” though it emphasized that the respect, care, and friendship between Alexa and KD remain intact.

For many supporters, the confirmation carried the ache of an ending that seemed to unfold slowly in public view.

Speculation about a possible falling-out between the two had circulated for months after fans noticed they were rarely seen together. Though KD previously denied rumors of tension and insisted they remained close behind the cameras, whispers of distance persisted online.

The speculation intensified after KD was linked to another actress last year, rumors he firmly denied while also defending Alexa from online attacks.

As of writing, KD has yet to issue a separate personal statement, though he reposted the same fandom announcement on Instagram.
