Filipino actress Angelica Panganiban has been nominated at the 2026 Global OTT Awards in South Korea, joining an international lineup of actors and streaming content recognized this year.

The nominees for the Global OTT Awards were announced ahead of the ceremony scheduled on June 20 at the Roof Theatre of the Busan Cinema Center in Busan, South Korea.

The event is hosted by South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT and the Busan Metropolitan City government, and organized by the Korea International Streaming Festival and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency.

Panganiban received a nomination for Best Lead Actor (Female) for her performance in Prime Video’s “The Silent Noise.”

Other nominees in the category include Shin Hae-sun for “The Art of Sarah,” Kim You-jung for “Dear X,” Park Bo-young for “Gold Land,” Tian Xiwei for “Pursuit of Jade,” Shibasaki Ko for “Scandal Eve,” and Rebecca Armstrong.

In the Best Lead Actor (Male) category, nominees include Kim Seon-ho for “Can This Love Be Translated?”, Tseng Jing-hua for “Had I Not Seen the Sun,” Hyun Bin for “Made in Korea,” Song Weilong for “Shine on Me,” and Takeuchi Ryoma for “Then You Try Making It!”

Dahyun was also among the nominees announced for this year’s awards.

This year’s Global OTT Awards feature 14 competitive categories and five invitational categories recognizing achievements in streaming platform content.

Among the nominees for Best Creative are “Born to Be Alive,” “The Hunt – The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case,” “Made in Korea,” “Passing the Reins,” and “You and Everything Else.”

According to organizers, the Best Creative category honors content that “contributed to the expansion of content diversity by discovering new materials and fresh formats and by manifesting the most remarkable achievements in the content field.”
