Bulacan cops arrest 3 pushers, seize P544K shabu

Police arrested three suspected drug peddlers and confiscated over P544,000 worth of shabu during an anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay Catacte, Bustos, Bulacan, on Tuesday night, May 12.

Cpt. Heherson M. Zambale, officer-in-charge of Bustos police, said the suspects were identified as alias “Jess,” 49, of Brgy. Catacte; alias “Dodoy,” 43, of Brgy. Talampas, Bustos; and alias “Roel,” 46, of Brgy. Paligue, Candaba, Pampanga.
The Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) carried out the operation, which resulted in the seizure of approximately 80 grams of suspected shabu valued at P544,400.
Authorities also recovered a .38-caliber revolver loaded with two live bullets from one of the suspects.
The suspects and confiscated evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for drug testing, laboratory examination, and ballistic testing of the firearm.
Appropriate criminal charges are set to be filed against them.
