Thai actor Nine Naphat on living separately from his mom: 'I have my own life'

Thai actor Nine Naphat has finally addressed ongoing public scrutiny surrounding his relationship with his mother, Mae Moo Pimphaka, months after his highly publicized breakup with actress Baifern Pimchanok.

According to reports from Thairath Online, Nine revealed that he has decided to live separately from his mother, emphasizing that the choice was made for his peace of mind and emotional well-being.

“I will speak about this for the last time,” Nine said during an interview, making it clear that he no longer wants the issue to continue following him.

The 30-year-old actor shared that he values honesty and felt the need to directly address the situation once and for all.

“I want to respond to this only once and for the last time. I am straightforward and clear. I dislike lying, so I will be honest because if I don’t, this issue will haunt me endlessly,” he explained.

Nine confirmed that since his previous press conference regarding the controversy, he and his mother have had no contact.

“I have my own life; we live separately. I ask everyone to respect this. I am 30 this year; I have grown up and want to be happy. I choose my own path, the best for me,” he said.

The actor also stressed the importance of protecting his mental and emotional health, adding that he wants happiness not only for himself but for everyone involved.

When asked if he had completely cut ties with his mother, Nine chose not to give a direct answer but admitted that the situation had deeply affected the people around him.

“You could say that. I have my own life. I feel that the people around me, those involved, have all been hurt—not just me. Everyone has been deeply hurt and disappointed enough. I won’t take it anymore. I have done the best I can,” he stated.

Nine and Baifern previously confirmed their breakup amid speculation that family issues played a role in the split. During the announcement, the actor accepted responsibility for failing to properly balance his relationship with his mother and his romantic relationship.

Despite their separation, Nine spoke warmly about Baifern, describing her as “an amazing woman” and saying he had no regrets about their time together.

The actor also revealed that he is currently dating someone outside the entertainment industry but intends to keep the relationship private.

“I am dating someone outside the entertainment industry,” he shared with a smile. “I want everything to be natural and take things slowly. I want to keep this relationship private and respect her privacy as well as her family’s. I’m not hiding, but I ask everyone to respect our privacy.”
