ZAMBOANGA CITY - Five kilos of suspected shabu worth P34-million were seized in a buy-bust operation in a mall parking lot here Tuesday.

Three alleged drug pushers from Tawi-Tawi and Sulu were apprehended.

Recovered from them were five plastic bags containing shabu and a pickup truck.

Their suspected leader escaped.

The contraband was sent to the crime laboratory for examination.

The suspects are facing inquest proceedings.
