Ombudsman confirms receipt of Lacson's committee report on flood control mess

The Office of the Ombudsman has confirmed receiving the partial committee report transmitted by the office of Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson concerning alleged irregularities linked to flood control projects.
Assistant Ombudsman Mico Clavano said the document will be referred to teams handling various flood control-related investigations for evaluation and possible use in ongoing cases.
“I am confirming receipt of the transmittal of the partial committee report from the office of Senator Ping Lacson,” Clavano said.
“The relevant information will be cascaded to the teams in charge of the different flood control cases for their perusal and use, if necessary,” he added.
