Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Parañaque, Bacoor, and Imus will experience water service interruptions during certain hours from May 14 to 17.
Maynilad Water Services told customers that the water service interruptions are due to maintenance activities at its Putatan Water Treatment Plants 1 and 2 in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa.
“Maynilad will conduct maintenance activities at its Putatan Water Treatment Plants 1 & 2 in Muntinlupa City from May 14 to 17, 2026, as part of its continuing efforts to sustain reliable water service in the West Zone during the dry season,” it said in an advisory.
The activities will include “forebay desilting at the plants’ intake area, along with other essential maintenance works at the treatment facilities.”
“These are intended to help maintain the operational efficiency of the plants and support stable water production, particularly as Maynilad prepares for possible dry season and El Niño-related challenges amid the El Niño Alert issued by PAGASA,” it said.
Maynilad will deploy mobile water tankers and will install stationary water tanks in key locations.
