HUAWEI launches WATCH FIT 5 Series, WATCH GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition, and nova 15 Max in Southeast Asia

HUAWEI’s “Now Is Your Spark” event in Bangkok unveiled a new generation of smartwatches and a smartphone designed for active, connected lifestyles, with Philippine availability coming soon.
HUAWEI has officially introduced its latest consumer devices at the Now Is Your Spark Innovative Launch in Bangkok, Thailand, debuting the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series, the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition, and the HUAWEI nova 15 Max. The showcase highlighted HUAWEI’s all-scenario technology ecosystem, designed to help users move, create, and connect more freely in everyday life.
With a clear focus on younger users, HUAWEI’s new devices combine health and fitness intelligence with practical features and expressive design.
HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series
The centerpiece of the wearables lineup is the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series, which includes two models: the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro and the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5. Both build on the line’s signature square silhouette with a sleeker, more vibrant aesthetic aimed at encouraging users to stay active through accessible mini-workouts.
HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro
The Pro variant is designed for users who want premium performance without compromising on style. It features a titanium build paired with 2.5D sapphire glass for added durability and elegance.
On the health front, the WATCH FIT 5 Pro introduces ECG functionality and a diabetic risk study feature, expanding the watch’s role beyond fitness tracking into a more comprehensive health companion.
The Pro also includes enhanced outdoor sports support and guided mini-workouts, backed by up to 10 days of battery life.
HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5
For users who prioritize everyday wearability, the standard WATCH FIT 5 offers a slim and lightweight build without sacrificing capability. It includes over 100 sports modes, mini-workout programs, and a comprehensive suite of health management features, along with the same 10-day battery life as the Pro model.
Both models in the WATCH FIT 5 Series support a wide range of sports, including cycling, golf, trail running, and tennis, with tracking, analysis, and guidance tools designed for both casual fitness users and serious athletes.
HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition
Making its debut at the Bangkok event, the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition is positioned as a professional running smartwatch inspired by marathon racing.
Its standout feature is the Running Ability Index (RAI), a metric designed to give runners a clearer view of overall performance capability. The watch also introduces an upgraded Training Camp Dashboard, offering deeper insights that help runners train smarter and compete more effectively.
Whether users are preparing for a first 5K or chasing a personal best in a marathon, the GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition is built to support training with data and guidance.
HUAWEI nova 15 Max
Rounding out the lineup is the HUAWEI nova 15 Max, a smartphone designed for users who want strong performance in photography, entertainment, and daily productivity.
The nova 15 Max features a 50 MP RYYB Ultra Vision Camera, designed to capture vivid, true-to-life colors in challenging lighting conditions such as low light, backlit scenes, and high-contrast environments.
A 6.84-inch Vivid OLED screen gives the nova 15 Max a large visual canvas, while symmetrical stereo dual speakers enhance the experience for streaming, gaming, and music.
One of the nova 15 Max’s most notable specs is its 8,500 mAh Super Battery, built to support extended use without frequent charging.
The device also carries an SGS 5-Star Extra-Durable Body rating, which is intended to help it withstand everyday drops and wear.
What this means for Philippine Consumers
HUAWEI confirmed that the newly launched devices will be available soon in the Philippines.
