Celebrities react to Sen. Bato dela Rosa-NBI chase video

Following the tense encounter between the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents and Senator Ronald 'Bato' dela Rosa at the Senate yesterday, a CCTV footage of a seeming chase involving both parties went viral and sparked reactions from celebrities. 
In a post on Instagram, actress Bela Padilla questioned Bato's behavior.
"So many questions. (First), Who gave that man the right to shout at a woman calmly asking him questions that are valid. Yes, we’d like to know. lkaw na nga nagsabi na sumusweldo ka. So nasaan ka recently? Sumusuweldo ka ng hindi ka pumapasok, okay ba yun?

"(Second), why so hysterical? Calm down. Did you come to work today to finally do some good work, sir?" Bela wrote.
Bela didn't stop there.
"I was in the (emergency room) the other day but I still rushed to work immediately after. And I’m not even important.  Aren’t senators important? Don’t their decisions affect millions of lives? So their wages being high is justified," she wrote.
Note Sen. Bato returned to work to cast his vote following an impasse at the August chamber. Eventually, Sen. Tito Sotto was removed as Senate President and was replaced by Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano.
Meanwhile, Actor Jake Ejercito chided Sen. Bato on X, (formerly Twitter).
"Strava reveal naman diyan, sen" Jake wrote on his post.
On X, actress Agot Isidro remarked that Bato had been “fooled by nature,” referring to his claim that he spent his months away from the Senate surrounded by nature.
Agot then brought up the viral video clip.
"Just saw the CCTV. We have a runner!!!"
On the other hand, award-winning director Erik Matti shared his thoughts about it on Facebook.
