2026 Lexus IS gets new cabin tech and sharper sport sedan styling

Lexus Philippines has launched the 2026 Lexus IS, bringing the compact sport sedan to the local market with updated exterior styling, a redesigned cabin, and a three-variant lineup.
The 2026 Lexus IS is available as the IS 300h Executive, IS 300h Premier, and IS 350 F Sport. The IS 300h Executive opens the range with comfort, essential technology, and Lexus safety features. The IS 300h Premier adds upgraded interior finishes, newly designed wood trim, and additional convenience and comfort features. The IS 350 F Sport sits at the top of the lineup with sportier exterior details, performance-focused upgrades, and a Mark Levinson 17-speaker audio system.
A larger spindle grille now reaches the leading edge of the hood, giving the sedan a wider and more planted front end. The latest design direction, called “Provocative,” works with the car’s low center of gravity and wider stance. The sedan also gets newly styled 19-inch lightweight aluminum wheels and a rear blade light bar with a wing-like appearance.
The IS 350 F Sport adds functional aerodynamic details, including a redesigned rear spoiler. Available red brake calipers further separate the F Sport from the hybrid variants.
The cabin drops the previous trackpad layout in favor of a standard 12.3-inch high-resolution touchscreen. A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster sits ahead of the driver, placing primary driving information within direct view. The setup follows Lexus’ Tazuna cockpit philosophy, which focuses on keeping major controls and information close to the driver’s natural line of sight.
The Lexus Interface system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Physical climate controls remain through a simplified control row, while all variants receive Forged Bamboo ornamentation.
Chassis and steering changes were refined at the Shimoyama Technical Center as part of Lexus Driving Signature development. The 2026 IS receives rack-parallel Electric Power Steering and a linear solenoid-type Adaptive Variable Suspension, giving the sedan more controlled steering response and smoother transitions on the road.
Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard across the lineup. The driver assistance package includes Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and enhanced pre-collision functions with improved pedestrian and cyclist detection.
The 2026 Lexus IS is now available at the Lexus Manila Gallery. Pricing for the IS 350 F Sport starts at ₱4,388,000.
