Evan, the artist formerly known as Heeseung, to make solo debut in June

Evan, formerly Heeseung of ENHYPEN, will be making his solo debut in June, three months after leaving his group. 

His agency, Belift Lab, told Korean media that Evan will release a song in June. 

"Evan is preparing a new song with a target release date of June. We will provide further details through a future announcement,” said Belift Lab, TenAsia reported. 

The confirmation came after Korean media outlet Ize published an exclusive report on May 11 stating that Evan will release his first single in June, marking his official debut as a solo artist. 

It added that after this, Evan will perform at the 2026 Busan One Asia Festival (BOF) with NOL to be held on June 28 at the Busan Asian Main Stadium. 

Evan will also appear at KCON LA 2026 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Aug. 16. 

Heeseung took on Evan as moniker after he left ENHYPEN.

His departure caused friction among fans with some insisting that ENHYPEN will always have seven members while others said they fully support the remaining six members of the group.
