The Manila City government is offering a new skills training program for residents interested in entering the beauty and wellness industry.
The Skin Care Training Program, led by the Manila Manpower Development Center (MMDC) under the Manila Department of Social Welfare (MDSW), is now open for enrollment.
The program will train participants in proper skin care treatment, basic facial procedures, the use of skin care tools and products, and customer care.
City officials said the training aims to equip participants with skills that could help them secure jobs in spas, beauty clinics, and wellness centers, or start their own small businesses.
The initiative is part of the city’s continued push to expand livelihood and employment opportunities under Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso.
The Manila government encouraged interested residents to enroll, highlighting the program as a pathway to learning, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.
