3 suspects yield P1.3-M illegal drugs in Muntinlupa, Taguig
Police arrested three drug suspects, including a woman, after they were caught with P1.32 million worth of shabu and marijuana in separate buy-bust operations in Muntinlupa and Taguig on Saturday, May 9.
In Barangay New Lower Bicutan, Taguig police arrested a female suspect identified as alias Babes, 49, tagged as a street-level individual, for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
During the operation at a covered court, the police recovered 27.8 grams of shabu worth P189,040 from the suspect, buy-bust money, and boodle money.
She is facing a complaint for violation of Sections 5 (sale) and 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
In Muntinlupa, operatives from the Southern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with the Muntinlupa police, nabbed two men in a buy-bust operation at a parking lot in Barangay Alabang.
The suspects were identified as alias Har, 29, and alias Robert, 28, both newly identified high-value individuals.
Seized from Har were 150 grams of shabu valued at P1,020,000, buy-bust money, a cellular phone, and a sport utility vehicle.
Meanwhile, Robert yielded 1,000 grams of marijuana valued at P120,000 and 10 vape cartridges containing liquid marijuana.
The police will file a complaint against the suspects for violation of Sections 5, 11, and 26 (attempt or conspiracy) of Republic Act 9165.
Brig. Gen. Glenn Oliver Cinco, SPD district director, commended the operations.
