'Walang kadaladala': Top drug suspect falls anew in P6.8 M Parañaque shabu bust

Government anti-narcotics authorities seized on Friday night, May 8, around P6.8 million worth of shabu following the arrest of an alleged big-time drug peddler during a buy-bust in Parañaque City, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) stated.
Alias, “Anton, a known high value target (HVT) drug suspect according to PDEA, was collared by authorities at around 7:10 p.m. in Barangay Don Bosco.
"Anton is a native of Pampanga and was previously incarcerated for drug cases. It took our operatives three weeks to secure a drug deal with him", the PDEA team leader said.
Upon further search, the PDEA Regional Office Special Enforcement team, PDEA National Capital Region-Southern District Office and Philippine National Police (PNP) Drug Enforcement Group confiscated one smartphone, one digital weighing scale and marked money aside from the more or less 1,000 grams of shabu placed in two resealable transparent plastic bags.
Based on past intelligence reports, authorities revealed that the alias “Anton’’ was involved in the sale of assorted illegal drugs like shabu, ecstasy and ketamine in Metro Manila and Pampanga.
The suspect faces charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’’
