CFBCI inks MOA with Philippine Marketing Association
On 06 May 2026, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) formalized its collaboration with the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) through the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement.
The ceremony was held at CFBCI’s head office in Binondo, Manila, and was attended by President Gerald Uy Chan, Immediate Past President Samuel Lee Uy, Executive Vice President Paul Yeung, Director Mylene Hao Co, Director Jimmy Ang, Director Richard Yao, and Director Ellen Martines. Other officers and members of CFBCI were likewise present to witness this milestone occasion.
On behalf of CFBCI, President Gerald Uy Chan, Executive Vice President Paul Yeung, and Director Richard Yao (Chairman of Trade & Commerce Committee) formally signed the agreement, while PMA was represented by President Michelle de Ocampo-Ballesteros, Director Myraflor Miranda, and Vice Chairman for Government and Consumer Affairs Jack Wong (who is also a Trade & Commerce Committee Vice Chairman of CFBCI).
The official ceremony commenced with the acknowledgement of CFBCI officers and members, followed by the introduction of the delegates from PMA. To formally welcome the organization’s new partner, CFBCI President Chan delivered his opening remarks.
In his message, President Chan emphasized that, as a business organization, CFBCI recognizes PMA’s steadfast commitment to professional development and education. He highlighted PMA’s efforts in equipping marketing professionals with relevant competencies in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, and digital transformation. He further noted that PMA’s leadership in cultivating informed and future-ready professionals closely aligns with CFBCI’s mission of empowering entrepreneurs and business leaders.
In response, PMA President Ballesteros expressed the organization’s sincere gratitude for the newly established partnership with CFBCI. She underscored that the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing marketing excellence and strengthening linkages between business communities. According to her, the partnership will pave the way for meaningful collaborative initiatives, knowledge-sharing opportunities, and business development programs that will benefit the members of both organizations.
Following the speeches, the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement was officially conducted, after which representatives from both organizations gathered for commemorative photographs to mark the occasion.
