Fans emotional after 'Home Along Da Riles: Da Reunion' drops first teaser

The Cosme family is back.

The teaser for the much awaited "Home Along Da Riles: Da Reunion" movie dropped on Wednesday, delighting longtime fans.

The clip opens with Nova Villa reprising her role as Azon, expressing how much she misses Kevin, the character famously portrayed by the late Dolphy.

“Kevin, ikaw lang naman ang buhay ko e. Kailan mo ba ako susunduin?” Azon says while holding Kevin’s photo.

As a train rumbles past their home, the house begins to shake, which Azon takes as a sign that Kevin hears her.

The reunion film brings back several original cast members, including Claudine Barretto as Bing, Boy 2 Quizon as Estong, Gio Alvarez as Bob, Vandolph as Baldomero, Smokey Manaloto as Bill, Maybelyn Dela Cruz as Maybe, and Dang Cruz as Roxanne, showing that the Cosme family’s bond remains strong even after Kevin’s passing.

Toward the end of the teaser, Azon delivers an emotional line: “Kevs, parang okay na sila. Ready na ako anytime.”

Directed by Eric Quizon, the film also features Cita Astals and Pepe Herrera, among others.

"Home Along Da Riles: Da Reunion" is set to open in local cinemas on June 17.

The movie is based on the beloved sitcom "Home Along Da Riles," which first aired in 1992 and ran until 2003.
