LGU in Davao de Oro launches free laboratory, diagnostic services

DAVAO CITY – The local government of Mawab, Davao de Oro launched free laboratory and diagnostic examinations at the municipal super health center on May 5.
Mayor Myrill Apit said the initiative is part of their efforts to strengthen healthcare services for constituents.
Apit said residents will no longer need to travel far to avail of essential laboratory tests. She added that the laboratory services are available from Monday to Friday.
Laboratory tests are Complete Blood Count with Platelet Count, Urinalysis, Fecalysis, Fasting Blood Sugar, Lipid Profile, Creatinine, Uric Acid, SGPT, HbA1c, FOBT, and Sputum Examination.
“These services aim to support early detection, timely treatment, and overall wellness for the community, ensuring that every resident has access to vital health diagnostics without financial burden,” Apit said.
“This program is part of our unwavering commitment to provide Serbisyong Mabati sa Tanan – accessible, reliable, and compassionate healthcare for all.”
